Blog Submission Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in writing for Our Nutritionist! We welcome your blog contributions! By writing for Our Nutritionist, you can share your brilliance with the world while serving our mission to spread wellness and brighten lives. We will work with you to polish your writing and make your message crisp. We feature writers from around the world, welcoming every nationality, religion, race and creed.

A couple of tips:

Familiarize yourself with our work, and if you can contribute something you feel would resonate with our audience, we want to know about it!
Holistic wellness is our jam. We cover sleep, mindfulness and meditation, food (including recipes), functional nutrition, genetics, yoga & fitness, health, and lifestyle. Our content covers the life cycle from pre-conception through old age.

Please keep in mind:

  • Write from your expertise. Are you a fitness teacher, psychologist or a recipe creator? We want to hear what your ideas, stories or tips from your experience.
  • Be yourself. The most interesting posts to read are those that shine with your personality. The worst posts are ones that are stiffly written. Speak to us in a way that lets us feel we’re having a personal conversation with you.
  • Provide unique content: Posts must written exclusively for Our Nutritionist. Posts must not have been published anywhere else online (including your personal blog) or be slated for publication or distribution on other sites.
  • Entice your readers: Write a compelling opening that makes the reader to want to continue. Keep it tight by making sure the first paragraph tells the reader clearly and succinctly what the article will share.
  • Enhance your credibility: If you reference a study or a statistic, include a link to that source. If you claim a health fact, back it up with research. Provide links to peer-reviewed scientific papers, research publications (such as Pub Med), academic journals, and/or credible news outlets. Non-credible sources will not be used. Highlight relevant links so that it stands out in the editorial process.

  3. Include your bio (150 words or less) with links to the following: your website, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and/or Twitter
We read every submission. However, we are a tiny team and can’t respond to every submission. If your post has been accepted, you will hear back from us within 2 days.
By submitting your original work to Our Nutritionist, your acknowledgement and acceptance of our terms is implied. You accept any form of editing the Our Nutritionist team deems necessary. You also accept that payment is not provided unless explicitly stated in writing.
